gcloud-unrestricted-sqlserver-access: Check for Unrestricted SQL Server Access

日期: 2025-08-01 | 影响软件: gcloud-unrestricted-sqlserver-access | POC: 已公开

漏洞描述

Ensure that Google Cloud VPC network firewall rules do not allow unrestricted access (0.0.0.0/0 on TCP port 1433). Restrict access to trusted IP addresses or ranges to implement the Principle of Least Privilege (POLP) and reduce the attack surface.

Ensure that Google Cloud VPC network firewall rules do not allow unrestricted access (0.0.0.0/0 on TCP port 1433). Restrict access to trusted IP addresses or ranges to implement the Principle of Least Privilege (POLP) and reduce the attack surface.
  impact: |
Allowing unrestricted access to TCP port 1433 exposes your resources to potential brute-force or unauthorized access attacks on SQL Server.
  remediation: |
Update your VPC firewall rules to allow SQL Server traffic only from trusted IP addresses or ranges.
